About the Artist
Nate Griffin is an Ordained Minister, singer/songwriter, bible teacher, musician (drummer/percussionist) and public speaker.
Singing and writing songs since the age of 12. Nate has been an independent recording artist for over 4 decades. His talents have allowed him to minister throughout the US on various military bases as a member of the US Army Reserves, where aside from his military commitments, he also got the opportunity to share his music with his fellow soldiers and the patients they took care of as Army Medics.
With his music, he completed a 2 week stint in Johannesburg, SA, where he took part in ordaining ministers, preaching and sharing his music. He has performed the National Anthem at The Philadelphia Phillies baseball game on the 4th of July 2000, he has performed on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum during the 2001-2002 winter Olympic games. And most recently, he was selected to sing the National Anthem at his own graduation from Peirce College while receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Leadership Development in 2018.
He was a member of the Crusaders for Christ Evangelistic Church for well over 4 decades, where he served as choir member, solist, drummer, head audio technician, daycare attendant, executive board member, deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Evangelist. His many hats have given him the teaching, training, and experience to serve in such a capacity. He is currently fellowshipping at The Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Philadelphia.
Music is his main focus of ministry and his desire is to write songs for other artists. Aside from this area of ministry, he is also a bible teacher and has been teaching on the scriptures in concert and in churches throughout the area.
His concerts are not shows in the sense of the word as far as entertainment is concerned. But, it is more of a service of sharing the words of the Lord through
testimony and song. As he puts it, "I want to encourage others with my music in the same way my music has encouraged me". Welcome to Nate's music ministry. May you find encouragement, inspiration, and strength on your journey with the Lord.
My Story
I am a singer, songwriter, musician, and ordained Evangelist. I have been singing since age 12 and have performed on television, radio, military bases, churches, and internationally in Johannesburg, South Africa. Notably, I sang at the passing of the Olympic Torch in Philadelphia, the National Anthem at a Philadelphia Phillies game, and at my own graduation from Peirce College at the Kimmel Center. Combining my music with preaching, I offer a unique blend of music and ministry.
